PERSONALIZED CARE

At Hoover Oaks, we believe deeply in providing personalized care for each of our residents, especially for those residents who are living with dementia. We strive to celebrate and highlight the abilities of those we serve by helping them remember the person they were and still are, and not identified by their illness.

Our staff and caregivers undergo a complete extensive certified training to better support our residents in need of memory care. Comfort, respect and dignity are all important aspects in maintaining quality of life when living with memory impairment. This in mind, our approach to memory care is to make our residents feel at home away from home.

ASSISTED CARE

Hoover Oaks provides a unique form Assisted Care to residents who are 100% dependent on us to provide care. This could be residents who need assistance with memory care, or respite care, or patients with disabilities who may still have be cognizance with their surroundings, but however, lack the independence to care for themselves without assistance.

Our assisted care program provides a wide array of services designed to aid patients who are unable to take care of themselves without the possibility of ever gaining independence. However, our assisted care program is designed to help patients stay active and engaged. Assisted living provides the added security of 24-hour staff, assistance with medications, and all other amenities to help residents feel comfortable, taken care of, and excited to greet each new day.

We provide assisted care for patients who need assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, transportation, laundry, cooking, and cleaning and medication reminders. Residents may live in their own suites or with a companion if they desire. If you want the best for your aging loved one, Hoover Oaks is not just an assisted care facility, we are a home away from home.

SHORT-TERM RESPITE CARE

Hoover Oaks provides Short-term Respite stay based on room availability. When you need care for a loved one during your absence or you need a break from the daily routine of being the primary caregiver, we offer a caring solutions. Respite care provides temporary relief for family caregivers who are caring for patients with disabilities, special needs, or who are simply aging. Our team can assist your loved one with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, using the bathroom including all other personal care needed.

Our Respite care is designed to last up to a month and can be extended upon request to meet special circumstances. Sometimes respite may not be available at our community if we are at full occupancy, as there are no apartments specifically designated for respite care.
